Reconstructed in 1787 by Indore's Queen, Rani Ahilya Bai, Vishnupad Temple is an age-old holy shrine that is believed to have been constructed on the footprints of Lord Vishnu, as long as 40 cm. Aside from that, there is a beautiful statue of Lord Vishnu situated inside the temple and to the eastern side of it is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is located in Chand Chaura in Gaya, quite close to banks of River Falgu.
