Birla Temple, otherwise known as Birla Mandir, is a temple present in the Ballygunge area of Kolkata. The temple is dedicated to the Supreme Hindu God Lord Vishnu and His avatars. It was built by the Birla Foundation in collaboration with Ramkrishna Mission in 1976. The temple is unique as it does not have bells to help people meditate here without any disturbance. It is also very well maintained and hygienic.
