Nicco Park is one of the oldest amusement parks that are present in Kolkata. The park was formed in the year 1991. This park along with a few others was the one that brought the concept of amusement rides to Kolkata for the first time. The park was able to make rides such as the Toy Train, Tilt-a-Whirl, Striking Cars, Paddle Boat, Water Chute, Water Coaster and the flying saucer as well as several others famous among the common public. The park was also one of the first amusement parks in India who had introduced the roller coaster ride to this country. The entry fee is Rs. 850 and there are free and non-free rides present here. Apart from this, the park also houses several cafeterias and fast food joints that offer fast foods of different types starting from Rs. 20 onwards.
