Picnic Spot in Frazer Road, Patna
Incorporated in 2010, Buddha Smriti Park in Frazer Road, Patna is the brainchild of Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar. The park was inaugurated by the spiritual leader of Tibet, Dalai Lama who sowed two consecutive sapling, one brought from Sri Lanka and other one from Bodh Gaya, both of them holding a spiritual significance pertaining to Lord Buddha. Some of the pivotal points of attraction that set this place aside from others include 200 feet high stupa, Buddhist relics from Japan and Sri Lanka, museum, meditation center, library, exquisite natural beauty, diverse flora and so on.
Aside from that, Buddha Smriti Park also renders their visitors with a couple of perks and benefits more, affordable ticket rates, good ambience, indoor and outdoor seating, clean drinking water and AC facility to say the least.
