Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur, is a prominent district in the state of Bihar that was named after the famous revenue office Md. Muzaffar Khan who presided over the said position during the 19th Century British Period. The region is popular for many reasons, primarily due its abundance in Litchi production.

Also, a number of historical sites and heritage comprise an integral part of this place, the remnants of the East India Company being the most notable of them. Some of the other points of attraction that set Muzaffarpur apart from others include the Ram Chandra Shahi Museum, Chaturbhuj Sthan Temple and National Litchi Research Center to say the least.
