Lokenath Mandir

As the name suggests, Lokenath Mandir is a revered holy shrine, dedicated to the famous saint Lokenath Brahmachari. The entire building of the temple is made of sparkling white marble and is primarily lotus shaped, setting it apart from all the other temples in the city.

Every day, devotees from different parts of West Bengal, India and even Bangladesh visit this temple to seek the blessings of Baba Lokenath. Aarti sessions are performed, both in the morning and evening and watching them is a visual treat in itself. Timing is also very flexible, starting from 7 am in the morning up to 7 pm in the evening, getting everyone the opportunity to get a glimpse of this Divine Being.
