One of the oldest wildlife sanctuaries in Siliguri, West Bengal, Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary came into operation in the year 1976 and since them it has entertained tens and thousands of individuals who have an innate liking for nature. Kids will love this place too as the entire area is filled with lush greenery and amusing wildlife creatures. Get a sight of leopards, tigers, sambar, barking deer, elephants and what not.
The ticket prices are quite pocket-friendly, Rs.3,00 for both kids and adults. The park remains open from morning 6 am to 6 pm in the evening, so, one can visit this beautiful haven during any time of the day.
